Richard Latorre serves as President of Latorre Insurance. He established the full-service independent insurance brokerage in June of 2003, and since then the firm and its team of property, liability, health and life insurance agents, consultants and customer care specialists have served the insurance needs of thousands of clients in the Carolinas.
By leveraging the multilingual capabilities of his staff, which include English, Spanish and Portuguese, Richard has positioned Latorre Insurance as a leading insurance brokerage in North Carolina serving the general market as well as the state’s rapidly growing international segments. In addition, the firm helps insure many types of complex commercial risks and has a growing presence in life insurance and business benefits.
After earning an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, Richard worked in international sales and distribution for Sony Corporation. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing in the U.S. and Latin America having spent more than ten years working in virtually every country in the Americas.
